File administrators usually give you information on each of the files you indicate, but rarely do they tell you, in a list, how much space they take up. That`s why DirSize is interesting.

DirSize is a small utility that runs from the command line (or from MSDOS) that shows you a complete list showing how much space each file and directory takes up in your hard drive. Thus you`ll know how all the space is being used up.

You can also do generic searches on which are the directories that take up most space, and generate reports on possible changes. The information is shown in a tree structure to make it more legible.
